Liqui Moly oil Made in Germany. Mahle oil filter made in Austria (Mahle is an OEM supplier for the Supra built in Austria.)
Oil change kit includes; Mahle oil filter with drain plug crush washer and filter housing gaskets along with 6 liters of Liqui Moly 0W20 oil for the 2.0L BMW B48 engine.
Meets BMW Longlife-17FE approval.
The BMW Longlife-17 FE+ approval is intended specifically to reduce the risk of LSPI. LSPI stands for low speed pre-ignition and means that the mixture ignites spontaneously in the combustion chamber at low speeds before the ignition spark. The risk can be greatly reduced by using the right motor oil.
Up until now, there have been no BMW models which only require this type of oil with Longlife-17 FE+ and are compatible with any other oil. Furthermore, this type of oil is backwards compatible and under most circumstances can be used when an older Longlife standard is specified for use.
